June 3, 2009-- Shuttle crews typically come to KSC to train inside the spacecraft one month before liftoff. Endeavour's current crew is doing this work today with the launch just a week and a half away. Things got jammed up with Endeavour on a different launch pad last month and Atlantis in orbit for the Hubble repair mission. NASA managers are also holding the Flight Readiness Review to clear Endeavour to go. Liftoff is set for a week from Saturday to the International Space Station--whew!
