May 6, 2009-- It's budget time for NASA. President Obama releases his spending proposal for NASA tomorrow. The document is expected to give clues on the Administration's plans for the space agency. There are still critics of the proposed Ares-1 rocket to propel the yet-to-be-built Orion capsule. Some favor using liquid fueled rockets like the military Delta-4 or Atlas-5, or another design based on current Shuttle technology. There are also rumors of possibly using the European built Ariane-5. We'll see.
