For-profit colleges expanding, along with questions about the institutions December 4, 2008 -- Last month local officials trumpeted the importance of Kaplan University opening a new administrative headquarters in Orlando. They say it could eventually employ up to 750 people. For-profit colleges and universities are growing in Florida; enrollment is up 23 percent over just last year.
