Palin, Obama Vie for Women Voters in Florida

September 22, 2008 -- Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin got a rock star reception yesterday when she made her Florida debut at a huge rally in The Villages. The massive Central Florida retirement community was friendly territory for Palin, as it's considered a GOP stronghold. The McCain campaign is hoping Palin's popularity will continue to boost support for the GOP ticket, especially among women, but Democrat Barack Obama spent the weekend fighting for the female vote in Florida too. 90.7's Judith Smelser reports.
