Hank Fishkind Oct. 23 -- How's the Local Economy Holding Up? October 23, 2007 -- The economy of Central Florida appears to be holding up well, despite higher oil prices and the sub-prime mortgage meltdown. That's according to economist Dr. Hank Fishkind, who's been pouring over the latest numbers on job growth and home sales. 90.7's David Pitman asked Dr. Fishkind what parts of the local economy are, in his words, doing "extraordinarily" well.
