Fran Hardy is known for her work inspired by the Florida landscape, but she moved to Santa Fe two and a half years ago.  She's back for two Central Florida exhibits of her work, to talk about the new influences in her work.

An exhibit of mostly new work is at the Museum of Florida Art in DeLand, through November 27, and Fran will be at the Opening Reception for an exhibit at Millenia Fine Art, next Friday, September 28, from 7-9pm.  She's also givien an Egg Tempera Workshop this Saturday and Sunday in DeLand.  For information, call 386-734-4371.

SEASON PREVIEWS -
 
Broadway Across America-Orlando opened its new season this week with a 30th Anniversary production of Annie, starring Clermont's own Amanda Bolen.  The series director, Ron Legler of Florida Theatrical Association, talks about exciting developments in series programming.  For information, call 800-448-6322.


Orlando Shakespeare Theatre has also opened its 2006-2007 season, with a new name.  The opening production Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, directed by Patrick Flick, with incidental music by Michael Andrew.  Performances are Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2.  For information, call 407-447-1700.
