Young people born in 1982 or after… are not Gen X… they're not Gen Y… they like to be called "The Millennials." Millennials have gotten a lot of attention ever since two authors—William Strauss and Neil Howe—dubbed them "the next great generation." We took our cameras to Great Falls, Virginia—just outside Washington, D.C.—and talked with Mr. Strauss and Dr. Howe about why they think this generation will be able to deal with many political, environmental and cultural issues that are reaching the crisis point. We’ll hear about their research as we offer personal stories of Millennials coming of age here in Central Florida. We ask the question, "do Millennials really have what it takes to be the "next great generation?" We let the viewer decide.
