Effects of Property Tax Reform on Arts Groups

While legislators continue to debate property tax reform, arts groups wonder how the changes will impact their budget.


The debate over how to reform property tax may send the state legislature into special session, but cultural groups who may be affected by the changes are weighing how the changes will impact their budgets.  Last month United Arts of Central Florida, and other organizations that receive discretionary funds from Orange County, received a letter from the county's Office of Management & Budget stating they should expect significant reductions, depending on the outcome of the debate in Tallahassee.  90.7's Becky Morgan has this report.
