The Competing Plans For Property Tax Reform

April 11, 2007 -- WMFE is taking a closer look at property tax reform, which is looming over state lawmakers' heads as they return from the Passover break. With less than half the regular legislative session left, the House and the Senate are facing the challenge of putting together a single, cohesive reform package out of a number of competing proposals. 90.7's David Pitman spoke with reporter John Sepulvado of NPR member station WUSF in Tampa. He's been tracking the property tax reform debate in Tallahassee from the beginning, and explains how the ideas differ.
