From the archives, 4 profiles of people in the arts - flamenco dancer Tammy Weber-Millar, singer/songwriter SusieCool, painter Marlene London and former national poet laureate, Billy Collins.

1. From June, 2003 - Tammy Weber-Millar has long had a passion for flamenco. She and her husband, Ivan, are professional flamenco dancers who perform regularly in the area. Tammy also teaches the art of flamenco at her home studio. You can see Tammy and Ivan perform Thursdays at Tu Tu Tango, Sundays at Don Pepe's Cuban Cafe in Altamonte, and occasionaly at Universal Studios Latin Quarter; call or EMAIL for more information.

2. From September, 2002 - A profile of Marlene London, a spirited Winter Park artist who has developed an impressive career following a debilitating illness. After this interview aired in 2002, Marlene became the Visual Arts Contributor for The Arts Connection, interviewing a number of local and visiting artists including Harold Garde, Anna McCambridge and Rima Jabbur.


3. From November, 2002 - SusieCool entertains at open mic venues around the area with her original songs. She's also a strong promoter of other local musicians and the activities of Central Florida Folk.   Singer/songwriter Susan Foster-Trewick visits the studio and shares her music.

4. From October, 2002 - Sara Schlossman visited with U.S. Poet Laureate, Billy Collins. He talks about why he became a poet, as opposed to a fiction writer and shares 3 of his poems.
