July 4, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando - This week, Spotlight takes a look at a July 4th event that's become a cultural institution in the heart of downtown Orlando. Festivities are getting underway at the 37th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain, leading up to the massive pyrotechnic display over Lake Eola Friday night.

City of Orlando Communications Manager April Michael gives 90.7’s Nicole Creston a sneak peek at what’s new for Central Florida’s largest and longest-running event of its kind.

Fireworks at the Fountain goes on until after the fireworks display scheduled for just after 9pm July 4^th.
