Spotlight turns this week to the Orlando Philharmonic’s family concert in Loch Haven Park tomorrow. The program highlight is Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf -- with narration help from the Orlando Repertory Theatre. 90.7's Amy Kiley spoke about it with Philharmonic Executive Director David Schillhammer and guest conductor Paul Hostetter. Schillhammer said, though the Dr. Phillips Charities-sponspored concert starts at 6 p.m., families can come at 4:30 p.m. to introduce children to classical music with an instrument petting zoo and other activities. |
