Ibragim Todashev was being questioned by the FBI and Massachusetts State Police about a triple homicide that took place in Boston on September 11th 2011.

Todashev knew one of the Boston marathon bombing suspects, who was also implicated in those homicides.

During the five hour interrogation, agents said Todashev admitted some involvement in the homicides.

He was shot seven times after agents said he lunged at them with a metal pole.

90.7’s Carmel Delshad spoke to Ashton about his investigation.

Ashton began by explaining that he requested an interview with the FBI agent about the shooting.
