Update: Sheriff Names 'Persons of Interest' in Homicide Investigation


March 19th, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando- Authorities are investigating a triple homicide after the bodies of three homeless people were found in a patch of woods in East Orange County.

The Orange County Sheriff's office says a local resident found the bodies of Richard Button, 65, Todd Lemme, 57, and Deborah Watson, 54, in a barn like structure in woods off Curry Ford Road and Excalibur Drive Tuesday morning.

All three died from gunshot wounds.

The Sheriff's Office says the victims were transients.

Detectives believe they may have known the suspect or suspects in the homicide.

They say there were no signs of forced entry.

The OCSO homicide unit has named two people of interest in the investigation.

They are asking David Emmons and Leonard Lewis, who are also transients, 'to come forward and share any information about what may have occured inside the structure'.
