February 19, 2014 | Orlando, WMFE - The James Beard Foundation awards are described as the Oscars of the food world, and for the first time ever, the announcement of the semi-finalists is being held in Orlando. To talk about Central Florida's growing culinary scene and the impact of the awards being held here, 90.7's Matthew Peddie spoke with Chef and Owner of Cress in DeLand Hari Pulapaka, Food Blogger Ricky Ly and East End Market Founder John Rife. Chef Hari began by explaining the significance of the award.
