Kid Rock, Alan Jackson Performing at SeaWorld January 21st, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando- Alan Jackson and Kid Rock will headline a concert series at SeaWorld Orlando beginning this weekend. Nine other performers dropped out following last year's release of Blackfish, a documentary critical of the marine park, including Tricia Yearwood, Cheap Trick, Willie Nelson and the Barenaked Ladies. Jackson will perform this Saturday at the Bands, Brew & BBQ concert series, followed by Kid Rock on Sunday. Other performers haven't been announced. The theme park has defended the way it cares for marine animals: it says the benefits of zoological display include conservation of wild populations, animal rescue and scientific research. |
