A total of 155 flights were delayed in the Orlando area on Friday. A Jet Blue flight to Boston was delayed 7 hours because of the storm.

The latest update from the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority says another 63 flights were canceled between midnight and 6:30 P.M.

Carolyn Fennell of the authority says that there are across-the-board delays nationwide.

“This kind of weather system proves that it is one aviation system. Because flights that are impacted in the northeast can’t get here on time, and therefore flights can’t depart on time,” Fennell says.

The airport’s advice to travelers: check your airline’s website before you go to the airport.
