SpaceX Launch Postponed Until Tuesday

December 2, 2013 | WMFE - SpaceX will try to launch again Tuesday from Cape Canaveral. The company's third attempt Monday to launch a communications satellite was delayed.

The satellite had been scheduled to launch a week ago and again Thursday. The Thanksgiving Day launch would have been the first from the Space Coast since 1959.

Elon Musk, chief executive officer of SpaceX, tweeted that all known rocket anomalies are resolved, but engineers will spend another day rechecking to be sure.

Technical issues delayed the first two attempts. Engineers spent the weekend repairing the problems.

The Falcon 9 rocket will carry a more than three-ton commercial communications satellite into space.
