JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Orlando


November 20th, 2013 | WMFE- A JetBlue flight from Fort Myers to Boston was forced to divert to Orlando Wednesday afternoon.

Flight 1266 took off from Florida SouthWest International Airport bound for Boston Logan International, when the FAA says an emergency evacuation slide inflated in the cabin. 

 The twin engine Embraer E-190 landed safely at Orlando International Airport at 3.40pm.

Airport spokesperson Carolyn Fennell says 78 people were on board. 

The crew reported no injuries. 

Fennell said there was no disruption to airport operations. 

The FAA is investigating.
