November 20th, 2013 | WMFE - Friday marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. It's also the day Walt Disney decided to build his east coast theme park in Central Florida. 90.7's Matthew Peddie spoke with UCF history lecturer Jim Clark and Florida Today Space reporter James Dean about the impact President Kennedy and Walt Disney had on Florida. James Dean began by talking about Kennedy's trip to Central Florida only days before his assassination.
