October 29th, 2013 | WMFE - In the wake of the 16 day government shutdown, some Millennials are starting to focus on the nation's spending and debt. They're calling for equity in the federal budget and looking at the country's financial future. The Can Kicks Back is a non-partisan organization that is trying to tackle these issues. 90.7's Matthew Peddie speaks with the co-founder of The Can Kicks Back movement, Nick Troiano. Also, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is still investigating how two inmates were able to get out of prison using forged documents. 90.7's Amy Kiley speaks with Barry University Law Professor Leonard Birdsong about the escape.
