July 10th, 2013 | WMFE - In the last week of their judicial session the United States Supreme Court ruled section four of the historic Voting Rights Act unconstitutional. Section four, a provision that provided federal oversight for certain voting jurisdictions, covered five Florida counties, but voting rights activists like Co-Presidents of the Orange County League of Women Voter's Michelle Levy and Sandra Powers are concerned that the impact could be seen statewide.
