Intersection Segment | Statehood for Puerto Rico?

November 14, 2012 | WMFE - For more than a century Puerto Rico has been a U-S territory. But a majority of Puerto Rico residents voted last week for change. Most favored statehood. But there's more to the question of Puerto Rico's status. This week on Intersection 90's Mark Simpson talked with Puerto Rico historian Luis Martinez Fernandez of the University of Central Florida and with Luis Pastrana, former director of Puerto Rico's Federal Affairs office in the Southeast United States. Pastrana began the conversation by explaining what the vote means to Puerto Rico.
