President Obama to Speak in Winter Park Friday

President Barack Obama returns to Central Florida Friday to address supporters at Rollins College in Winter Park. White House officials say it is the president's seventh visit to Florida so far this year.

Mr. Obama is scheduled to speak at the Harold and Ted Alfond Sports Center on the Rollins campus Friday afternoon. His campaign officials say it’s free to attend and open to the public, but tickets are required.

The event is part of the president’s two-day campaign swing through Florida, a battleground state. Other stops include Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and Fort Myers.

Speaking at a Jacksonville convention center Thursday, President Obama addressed changes in Medicare, along with the differences between his plan to grow the economy and that of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

He is expected to discuss similar issues when he speaks at Rollins College Friday.
