Zimmerman Prosecutors Want Judge Lester to Stay

Prosecutors in the George Zimmerman case have asked the court not to disqualify the judge overseeing the case.

Attorneys for Zimmerman filed a motion last week to dismiss judge Kenneth Lester from the second degree murder case.
 
They said Zimmerman is concerned about his ability to receive a fair trial.
 
In court papers filed Tuesday, the prosecutors described the motion to disqualify as “long on conjecture and irrelevant and inaccurate bombast, short on fact.”
 
Prosecutors said the court is not biased against Zimmerman and granted him bail twice.
