Nelson Up in Fundraising, Down in Poll July 12, 2012 | WMFE - Democratic US Sen. Bill Nelson's campaign reports it had a very successful fundraising period, bringing in $1.8 million dollars in contributions during the second quarter of the year.
Representaive Mack has not released his second quarter numbers yet but he finished the first quarter with around $1.3 million in his campaign account. Meanwhile, a new poll from Rasmussen Reports shows Congressman Mack pulling ahead of incumbent Senator Nelson. Results from the conservative-leaning Rasmussen poll shows Mack with 46% of the vote to Nelson’s 37%. Seven percent prefer another candidate, and 10% say they are undecided.
