June 14, 2012 | Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs may have some good news to share tomorrow morning. Jacobs delivers her state of county address amid reports of nearing a deal on fixing the citrus bowl.

Mayor Jacobs participated in a public summit with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer last week to discuss the Citrus Bowl renovation plan.

The 2 mayors have been debating how best to pay for the final part of 2007s three piece venues deal.

Costs for the Citrus bowl’s repairs and modernization are pegged at 175 million dollars.

The plan to fund Orlando’s venues has been revamped as the economic downturn negatively impacted revenues pegged to finance the effort.
