April 25, 2012 | WMFE - Hispanics are Florida's largest minority group. They're also a coveted voting block. This week on Intersection 90.7's Mark Simpson talked about the role of Hispanics in the November elections with University of Central Florida history professor Luis Martinez-Fernandez and the Rev. Nino Gonzalez of Orlando's Iglesia El Calvario, the state's second-largest Hispanic megachurch. Martinez-Fernandez began the conversation by describing how diverse and fast-growing Florida's Hispanic population is.
