George Zimmerman's Attorneys Withdraw from The Case

Attorneys for the admitted shooter in the Trayvon Martin case announced Tuesday in Sanford Florida they are no longer representing George Zimmerman. Attorneys Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig say George Zimmerman is no longer returning their calls or messages.

Former Zimmerman attorney Craig Sonner says that doesn’t change the facts in the case, "I still believe that he was acting in self defense that night.  Nothing I’ve said about him or this case is changed in any way.  I just can’t proceed to represent a client who doesn’t stay in contact with me."

Attorney Hal Uhrig says he believes Zimmerman’s mental state may be deteriorating and possibly suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

The attorneys revealed that Zimmerman called the special prosecutor handling the case Tuesday, but that she declined to speak with him.

They also said that George Zimmerman is no longer in Florida, but is still located in the United States.
