Many of the protestors are expected to be students from colleges across Florida, including Florida A & M and Bethune Cookman university.

Anger about the handling of the Martin case is rising after the release of graphic 911 tapes late last week.

Trayvon Martin’s father Tracy Martin says the family is calling for the arrest of the neighborhood watch volunteer that shot the 17-year-old.

"We’re looking for justice for our son,” Martin says. “We’re looking for closure. We’re looking for answers. Most of all, we want an arrest and a conviction of George Michael Zimmerman for the murder of Trayvon Benjamin Martin."

The case is gaining the attention of national figures.

Reverend Al Sharpton is scheduled to hold a rally in Central Florida Thursday.
