UCF is trying to move forward after Athletic Director Ken Tribble and the Assistant Football coach David Kelly resigned in November over the scandal.

The allegations which first emerged last April, mainly focus on a former UCF athletics representative, Ken Caldwell.

UCF says it’s concluded Ken Caldwell, and an associate, Brandon Bender, engaged in improper recruiting contacts with both football and men’s basketball prospective student athletes.

The university has imposed penalties including reducing financial aid awards for men’s basketball, vacating men’s basketball wins for prior seasons and reducing the number of recruiting days for football and men’s basketball.

The NCAA will hold a hearing about the allegations and the university’s response in April.
