In Central Florida, nearly perfect weather during the week after Christmas equals huge crowds at the attractions.
Universal's Islands of Adventure reached capacity twice this week and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has also had to close its gates temporarily.
Spokeswoman Allison Lundell says Universal’s parks are staying open an hour later every night this week to accommodate as many visitors as possible.
“As we do close down the gates for a short period of time during the day, they eventually do open up again and we welcome guests to come in and just take advantage of that extra hour.”Lundell said.
Three of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks also filled to capacity at least once this week and Florida's newest attraction, Legoland in Winter Haven, also reached capacity for the first time on Wednesday.
