Orlando Charter Schools Buck Trend for Students with Disabilities

Dec.28, 2011 | WMFE - Charter schools are supposed to give students an alternative to their neighborhood schools and Florida law requires that all public schools, including charters, accommodate disabled students. But most charter schools have no severely disabled students. Reporter John O'Connor with State Impact Florida found some Orange County charter schools that believe students with and without disabilities learn more in classrooms together.
