October 25, 2011 | 30 years ago Orlando didn't have a major airport. Air travel was limited and many people drove to reach attractions like Walt Disney World. This month Orlando International Airport marks 30 years. This week on Intersection host Mark Simpson talks with the Phil Brown, Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority about what direction the airport is headed in as it faces the challenge of a down economy. Plus former Congressman Lou Frey and Orange County Regional History Center Director Sara Van Arsdel discuss the swap between the US military and local leaders for the former McCoy airbase that helped create OIA.
