Sept. 20, 2011 | WMFE - Florida got some sobering economic news last week. President Obama introduced proposals to stimulate the economy while new figures show the jobless rate in Central Florida is still above 10 percent.

90.7’s Tom Parkinson spoke with economic analyst Hank Fishkind to help sort out the economic news of the week.
Fishkind says the continuing high unemployment rate in Florida is troubling but trends showing job growth slowing down may be of even greater concern.
