Sept. 7, 2011| On the morning of the 9-11 attacks President George W. Bush was in Florida, at an elementary school in Sarasota where he read a book with children and promoted his No Child Left Behind policy. Terry Abbott was chief of staff then for the U.S. Department of Education. He was with the president's entourage, which included U.S. Education Secretary Rod Paige. This week on Intersection 90.7's Mark Simpson talked with Abbott about how the 9-11 attacks unfolded from his unique perspective, by the president's side.
