September 06, 2011 | WMFE - This week the country is reflecting on the meaning of the 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. As part of 90.7s look back at their impact we'll speak with Terry Abbott about his experience that day. Abbott was the chief of staff for the US Department of Education, and with George W. Bush as the President received the first news of the unfolding events on 9/11. Later in the program 90.7s Mark Simpson talks with Rollins College professors Mario D'Amato and Rachel Newcomb about the meaning of the word fundamentalism today.
