August 16, 2011 | WMFE - Before cars people used to walk everywhere, sometimes for hundreds of miles. Those long journeys became a hallmark of of writer Leo Tolstoy. The author of "War and Peace" regularly traveled for days on foot living on Russian hospitality later in his life. Stetson University professor Michael Denner retraced one of Tolstoy's journeys this summer and stops by to discuss the experience. Plus Congressman John Mica states his position on the shutdown of the Federal Aviation Administration last month, and why he says member of an airline union are "pawns" in a debate over repealing some rules that make it easier for unions to organize.
