June 15, 2011| Women have played a strong role in Florida's environmental movement. "Intersection" host Mark Simpson sat down with an expert panel to discuss the history of women in the movement and the group's take on recent changes to Florida's growth laws. Former Orlando Sentinel columnist Jane Healy, Vicky Tschinkel of 1,000 Friends of Florida and Rollins College professor Leslie Kemp Poole joined the discussion. Mark asked Leslie Poole what impact Gov. Rick Scott's emphasis on free markets will have on conservation in Florida.
