Intersection Segment | Talking with the Shuttle Closeout Crew

June 1, 2011| This week as part of 90.7's coverage of the end of the shuttle program, 90.7's Mark Simpson taped a special edition of "Intersection" at the Kennedy Space Center with some of the people who keep the space shuttle running. One of those people is Rene Arriens, a United Space Alliance worker who is on the Closeout Crew that seals astronauts into the shuttle before liftoff. Arriens also receives the shuttle for processing after it lands. He explained on this week's "Intersection" program how he gets to actually ride in the shuttle after it lands.
