Space Shuttle Atlantis
April 20, 2011| Space Shuttle Endeavour got the official go-ahead from NASA yesterday to lift off on her final mission next week. But last week it was Space Shuttle Atlantis that got the most attention at the Kennedy Space Center. NASA announced Atlantis will retire to KSC after flying the final mission of the Shuttle program this summer. On this week's Intersection 90.7s Mark Simpson sat down with engineer Tom Roberts, who's worked with Atlantis since 1985 as an employee of shuttle contractor United Space Alliance. Here's part of their conversation.
