Hank Fishkind March 1 - Gas Prices Won't Drive Tourists Away

March 1, 2011 | WMFE - Prices at the gas pump have taken a major leap in the past week.
AAA Auto Club South says the statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded in Florida was $3.40 Monday. That's a jump of 23 cents in one week.

Political instability in some of the major oil producing nations in the Middle East is a contributing factor.
Many analysts predict retail prices will top 4 dollars a gallon by this summer.
90.7’s Tom Parkinson spoke with economic analyst Hank Fishkind about how the higher gas prices might affect tourism in Central Florida.
