Feburary 23, 2011| The Obama administration recently released its 2012 budget proposal for NASA. Overall spending is held to roughly the same level, but the amounts spent on specific programs do shift. Among the areas that would feel changes if the spending plan is approved are projects to build a heavy lift rocket to replace the Space Shuttle and creating a Spaceport at the Kennedy Space Center. On this week's Intersection program host Mark Simpson spoke with NASA Deputy Administrator Lori Garver about the Obama spending plan.
