New Orlando Sentinel Editor Says Paper Will Not Charge For Online Content

November 17, 2010 | On 90.7's Intersection, Orlando Sentinel Editor Mark Russell told host Mark Simpson that the paper will not follow the model of some state and national newspapers that are charging for access to online news stories. Russell says by not charging, the Sentinel believes it can develop a larger online audience and build revenue through customizing advertisements-geared towards internet news readers.
