Intersection: Muslim-Christian Relations After Gainesville Koran-Burning Threat

September 14, 2010: Host Mark Simpson speaks with Central Florida Imam Muhammad Musri, who was at the center of negotiations with the Gainesville pastor who planned to burn copies of the Koran on last weekend's anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Musri describes his somewhat surreal experiences inside the Dove World Outreach Center. Then he's joined by Dr. Joel Hunter, senior pastor of the Northland Church in Longwood and an influential voice in the evangelical Christian movement, for a discussion of religious fundamentalism. The two men share their surprising views on how this event will affect Christian-Muslim relations.
