Hank Fishkind August 31 - Housing Slump Hits Florida Hard August 31 - There has been more bad news for Florida's housing market in the past week. Sales of new and existing homes in the US and here in Florida were even lower than most analysts predicted. At the same time, the number of home foreclosures was on the rise. 90.7's Tom Parkinson spoke about the housing and foreclosure crisis with economic analyst Hank Fishkind. Dr. Fishkind says the trend is very troubling for Florida's economy and he says the dip in home sales is partly due to the expiration of the first-time home buyer's tax credit.
