Sublette Looks Good for Orange School Board Chair ... Jacobs in First for Mayor

August 24 - In Orange County, with 91% of precincts reporting, former State Representative Bill Sublette has 61% of the vote. That means he will likely win the race outright, with no need for a runoff. In the County Mayor's race former County Commissioner Teresa Jacobs has 42% of the vote. She will be in a November runoff against the second place finisher. Right now, Commissioner Bill Segal has 23% of the vote, and Commissioner Linda Stewart has 19%.
