NOTE: Following the taping of this debate, Bill Sublette contacted WMFE and said he was mistaken about the position Homer Hartage took on the school board's proposed property tax increase at the recent League of Women Voters forum.  However, Mr. Sublette stands by his assertion that Mr. Hartage has taken positions in support of the tax in the past.

Click here for an expanded web-only version of the debate, including the candidates' positions on teacher merit pay, Orange County's desegregation settlement, and the creation of the elected board chair post itself.
