Palin and the Bushes Visit Central Florida

Three of the biggest names in Republican politics will be in Central Florida today. A former president and first lady are in Lakeland while Alaska's former governor is in Orlando.

March 12, 2010 - Former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush will be speaking at the National Leadership Forum at Southeastern University in Lakeland.
The college, which is affiliated with the Assemblies of God Church, hosts the annual 3 day event.
Keynote speakers in previous years have included former Secretary of State Colin Powell and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy.
Meanwhile, former vice-presidential candidate and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be the featured speaker at the Lincoln Day Dinner sponsored by the Orange County Republican Executive Committee.
This year, the annual dinner is being held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.
Palin has made several trips to Central Florida in the past year and has drawn large and enthusiastic crowds.  As at other recent events featuring Palin, television and radio news reporters are prohibited from recording the speech.
