Hank Fishkind January 19 Florida Jobs Summit Late last week, a jobs summit was held in Orlando. Florida Senate President-designate Mike Haridopolos and House Speaker-designate Dean Cannon called for the summit ahead of the spring legislative session. The stated goal was to gather input on one of the state's top priorities: fighting Florida's double-digit unemployment. 90.7 economic analyst Hank Fishkind says a jobs summit is a good idea but this one was too little and too late.
